We are proud to present this refined interior design project in Aldersbrook. Working within the constraints of an existing extension, we reconfigured the layout through a series of non-structural interventions, creating a larger open-plan space that brings together the kitchen, coffee station, bar and dining area. The new arrangement improves circulation, sightlines and natural light while making use of previously underutilised areas, including an unused window that now forms an integral part of the overall design. Our aim was to improve the flow and functionality of the home while tying everything together through a calm, natural material palette.

A former compact WC has been expanded to accommodate a fully equipped utility room, shower and toilet, providing a practical addition to the house without increasing its footprint.
The project is informed by three principal materials: light-stained oak, travertine stone and stainless steel. Bespoke oak kitchen fronts are paired with sleek stainless steel worktops and splashbacks, while a slender travertine-clad island stands as a monolithic centrepiece within the room. Bespoke aluminium shelving with integrated LED lighting provides a display for the client’s eclectic collection of coloured Swedish glass, bringing character and colour to the otherwise restrained material palette.
The same design language continues into the utility room, with matching joinery and worktops, while the shower is clad in full-height travertine tiles. The result is a cohesive interior that balances practicality and everyday use with a strong and carefully considered material identity.
